This is the second monitor from Summer infant I’ve purchased in less than two years. I had read the reviews before buying but I’d hoped they were wrong. I bought one for my first child 6 years ago and it lasted me years. The quality of summer infant seems to have gone down. I know have to scramble to buy another one and my daughter just turned 9 months. The camera is useless if I don’t have a screen to look off of. It is plugged it and it will not turn on. I was loving it until this morning, it just stopped working. Battery life was garbage after a few months. After about 13 months the battery wouldn’t work the monitor would only work plugged in. Purchased 2 years ago the screen recently just completely stopped working. Expandable system - add cameras to monitor multiple children or rooms, up to 4 total with auto-scan between rooms.
